Petco Park, the home of the Padres, is located between 7th and 10th Avenues and south of J street.  The portion of K Street between 7th and 10th has been closed off and acts as a pedestrian promenade behind left and center field.  It seats 42,445 and total attendance last year was 1,922,603.

Commute Times:
Padres tickets aren’t free and to pay for them, loyal fans work hard and drive hard.  Almost half of San Diego DMA residents that attended a MLB game last year and have a full or part-time job spend 40 minutes or more simply driving to and from work*.  Combine this with trips to pick up the kids, go to the gym, run errands, and go out for a night in the city and it is easy to see how MLB fans in San Diego are the perfect group to reach with outdoor advertising.

Media Exposure:
27% of San Diego DMA residents that attended at least one MLB game last year are more heavily exposed to outdoor advertising than any other media type.
