Royals tickets aren’t free and to pay for them, loyal fans work hard and drive hard.  Almost 50% of Kansas City DMA residents that attended a MLB game last year and have a full or part-time job spend 40 minutes or more simply driving to and from work*.  Combine this with trips to pick up the kids, go to the gym, run errands, and go out for a night in the city and it is easy to see how MLB fans in Kansas City are the perfect group to reach with outdoor advertising.

Media Exposure:
Kansas City DMA residents that attended at least one MLB game last year are becoming less exposed to other media types every day.  Many of them own a DVR and the majority use the internet for information traditionally found in the newspaper.
